The 99th release on Movement Recordings features the return of Pablo Discobar & Hugo HP to the label. Hailing from Luxembourg this newly formed duo recently contributed a track to Movement's much loved Technical Progress compilation series. They quickly follow that up by presenting their first single for the label entitled 'Youngman' which includes remixes from Samuel L. Session and Tash.

The deep and funky sounds which Pablo and Hugo explored on 'Down Town' are once again on full display here. Backed by a warm, chunky groove and strong rhythmic components the dance floor sensibilities are high straight away. As the track builds spaced out electronics and a wide array of clanky drums enhance the groove further. With the momentum now sky high the introduction of a catchy vocal loop pushes the energy right over the top. A drum heavy break only ups the intensity from there and a storming second half finishes the record out strong. Huge club production from Pablo and Hugo.

The first interpretation of 'Youngman' is provided by Samuel L Session who is making his first appearance on Movement Recordings. The Swedish producer has long been one of electronic music's most revered artists. With a discography that dates back to the early nineties and includes appearances on Music Man, KMS and his own SLS and Klap Klap imprints it's no surprise that some of his biggest supporters are Laurent Garnier, Rolando, Francois K, Christian Smith and Adam Beyer. For his Movement Recordings debut Samuel has overhauled the ruggedly funky original into a sleek, dubby, late night techno bomb. Fueled by laser-like rhythms, hypnotic rides and mesmerizing beats this is one mix that's sure to light up your dance floor.

The second and final interpretation of 'Youngman' is provided by Tash who is now appearing on Movement for the 28th time. Aside from being the owner and head A&R of Movement Recordings Tash is also a well travelled DJ and event planner / promoter. As of late he's been burning the midnight studio oil though and his productions have been flourishing as a result. A string of remix bombs for Marcelo Vasami and Magnetic Brothers along with his 'Rebirth' single have put him firming in the minds of electronic music fans once again. For his 'Youngman' interpretation Tash has reworked the funky original into a progressive techno hybrid that's geared for prime time play. It's electric groove is full of vibrant energy and the complementary rhythms are packed with boundless momentum. The highly unpredictable break may be the highlight though with its suspenseful moments and warped sensibilities setting up a phenomenal climax. Huge remix from Tash and an all round excellent release form Movement Recordings.
